The Victorian Villa Rehabilitation and Living Center staffing ratio exceeds the state of Maine’s requirements because our residents deserve the best care we can provide.
Our facility includes three residential care units each with their own personality. Our Residential Care Director is an LPN who has worked here for a dozen years. Certified residential medication assistants deliver medications and residential care aides supervise the personal care of each resident.
The skilled unit sends two-thirds of its residents home - that is what skilled care is all about - providing post-acute nursing care and therapy services to get residents back where they came from.
- Physical therapy instructs the resident in mobility and balance training and exercise to regain strength and endurance.
- Occupational therapy provides splints, instruction in the use of adaptive equipment and training in the activities of daily living.
- Speech therapy addresses cognitive, swallowing, and communicative concerns.
