Our nursing facility was opened in 1980 as a separate building in the field behind the original boarding home buildings.
It opened with 30 beds and grew to a high of 56 beds.
Today, we operate 47 nursing facility beds that are dually certified for Medicare and Medicaid meaning that we are not required to relocate a resident after a skilled stay to a non-skilled wing as may happen in facilities that aren’t dually certified.
Our staffing pattern exceeds state and federal requirements consistently.
